On November 21, 2018, OTR, a Russian software developer and system integrator, announced that it had received a license from the FSB of Russia to carry out activities for the development and production of means of protecting confidential information installed at the facilities of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, the Security Council of the Russian Federation, the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Russian Federation, Of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation and the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.

The license was issued indefinitely in accordance with Part 2 of Article 12 of Federal Law No. 99 of 05/04/2011 "On licensing certain types of activities" and Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 171 of 03/03/2012 "On licensing of activities for the development and production of means of protecting confidential information."

OTR passed all stages of verification by the field commission of the Center for Licensing, Certification and Protection of State Secrets of the FSB of Russia, confirming the examination for compliance with the requirements for applicants for this license, the company stressed.

The license of the Federal Security Service of Russia allows the company to operate in an industry that affects information that constitutes confidential information.
