Duracell alkaline turbomax. Duracell Battery Sizes and Types

Now a person uses a huge number of devices that require small-sized power supplies. There are few options for providing this. One of the most common ways to provide power to portable devices is through the use of galvanic power supplies, in which electricity is generated by a chemical reaction.

In order to ensure the reliable long-term operation of such batteries, it is necessary to observe the purity of technological processes and use advanced developments in this area. One of the best manufacturers of batteries and accumulators meeting these requirements is Duracell (Duracell is read in Russian).

About the manufacturer Duracell

The American company Duracell is a world leader in the production of high quality alkaline and lithium batteries and rechargeable batteries. Its official website is www.duracell.com, the regional Russian version is https://www.duracell.ru/.

The company was founded in 1924 under the name P.R. Mallory Company ". The first batteries that it produced were military-grade mercury power supplies. Since then, Durasel has repeatedly produced innovative batteries that significantly outperformed competitors in their characteristics.

The Duracell trademark was officially registered in 1964, its name comes from the abbreviation of the English phrase durable cell, which means long-term battery. Products under this brand are produced by several factories located around the world: in the USA, Belgium, Switzerland, Mexico, China, Japan. Accordingly, the country of origin of Durasel batteries may differ.

Since February 2016, it has been operated by the American holding company Berkshire Hathaway, which is owned by Warren Buffett.

Duracell battery classes and technologies

According to the information on the Russian-language website https://www.duracell.ru, this company produces three main classes of alkaline type (alkaline) batteries: Basic, Professional and Turbo Max (in the US they are designated Coppertop, Procell and Quantum, respectively). These are the most popular cylindrical elements with excellent technical characteristics that remain operational at temperatures from -20 to +54 degrees.

All 3 series are manufactured using Duralock Power Preserve technological know-how, which provides an extended shelf life of up to 10 years (for a 9V battery, up to 5 years).

Let's take a closer look at how these batteries differ.

Duracell Basic

This basic series of alkaline batteries has five basic sizes: AA, AAA, C, D - for one and a half volts, as well as a Duracell Basic 9V battery (better known as Krona) - for 9 volts.

These products have a good balance of consumer qualities, intended for low and medium power consuming devices. According to the statements of representatives of Durasel, the products of this line have a higher capacity of up to 40% than similar elements of competitors.

Duracell Professional

This is an improved (Professional) line of 1.5 volt alkaline cells, with two basic sizes: AA, AAA. In theory, they should last up to 70% longer than similar elements from other manufacturers.

This series is the best thanks to its high density core. It is well suited for devices with increased power consumption. There are five main sizes of this line: AA, AAA, C, D with a voltage of one and a half volts and a Turbo Max 9V battery with 9 volts.

Turbo Max products are equipped with a charge indicator made using the patented Powercheck technology, which allows you to visually assess the remaining capacity without additional instruments. To do this, you need to click on the white dots on the case, after which the thermochromic light indicator will light up, showing the level of the remaining capacity.

Duracell offers a wide range of batteries for electronic devices requiring a reliable power source. Duracell Turbo Max AA size alkaline batteries are ideal for all your devices. Thanks to them, energy-intensive devices will operate at full capacity.

Duracell Turbo Max Alkaline Batteries are our # 1 longest-lasting high-density core (Duracell's longest-lasting AA alkaline battery on average based on IEC standard tests in 2015) and available in AA, AAA, C, D and 9V.

Powercheck ™ technology allows you to easily determine the charge level of each battery to avoid unwanted interruptions in the operation of devices, and to reuse batteries in less power-hungry devices even when they stop working in more power-hungry devices (store batteries together and do not mix them with unused ones in a second device ). It is enough just to press on the white dots located at both ends of the battery, and the indicator will show the remaining charge level. In addition, thanks to the special Duralock technology, unused Duracell batteries can last up to 10 years when stored under normal conditions.

These are the best Duracell alkaline batteries for power hungry applications such as digital cameras, flashlights, electronic toys and high power audio systems. And, of course, they are perfect for commonly used devices: mechanized toys, flashlights, portable gaming devices, electric shavers, CD players, electric toothbrushes, and more.
