Story
The company traces its history back to the formation in 1912 in St. Petersburg of a society that bore the name: "French society of Renault motorists for Russia".

In 1930, the plant started developing and serial production of motorcycles L-300, L-500, L-8 and S-1.
In 1931-1932, the plant organized the flow production of 37-mm armor-piercing shells.
In the period 1932-1936, the plant carried out serial production of units for T-26 tanks, and also carried out the adaptation of M-5 aircraft engines (Licensed version of the Liberty L-12 engine) for installation on BT-2 and BT-5 tanks.

The company is in the process of moving to a new production site in Shuvalovo, where a production complex and two nine-storey (!) Office buildings have been built. A heavy multi-ton punching machine was brought to the production building from the old site (the place of which has long been in a landfill) and installed next to new CNC machines that do not tolerate vibrations from punching. Next to the same newest CNC machines, they installed old repainted dry grinding machines, which create an incredible amount of abrasive dust, and even the installed new dust collectors will not protect 100% of this dust. Machine operators have to wait for weeks (!) For the necessary tools and equipment to start machining parts. But on the other hand, a whole department has been created for the culture of production of idlers from which they walk in a crowd around the machine room, distract operators from work (although people's lives depend on the quality of the operators' work in the future) and demand to remove all rags near the machines, put the tools and equipment in the appropriate boxes, and boxes to stick the appropriate tags (like so that everything was beautiful). Also, at the request of these clowns and with the approval of Kurov, a blue tape was glued to the floor around the machines (like in Europe and Japan), although they themselves cannot explain why this is done in Geyrop and Japan (see below). The level of managerial idiocy also manifested itself in the fact that at the old site they cleaned and painted old locksmith's workbenches, brought them to a new site, and from there ... thrown them into the landfill!
